Naiira — Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Naiira is operated by Oliva Meg, an individual (not a registered company), based in Guadalajara, Mexico. Questions about these Terms can be sent to olivameg@icloud.com.

2. Accounts

• You must create an account (via email/password or a supported social login, such as Google) to use Naiira's collection features.
• You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure, and for any activity under your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use Naiira. If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission.

3. What Naiira does

Naiira provides a browser extension and web platform that let you capture and organize visual references you find on the web, for personal use in your own nail art practice.

4. Your content

• Images you capture using Naiira ("Captures") may include content that belongs to third parties (e.g., photos on websites you visit). Naiira does not claim ownership over the original source content.
• Captures are private to your account. Naiira does not currently offer any way to share, publish, or make Captures visible to other users or the public.
• You are solely responsible for how you use your Captures outside of Naiira (for example, if you choose to use them in your own content elsewhere), including ensuring your use complies with applicable copyright law.

5. Content removal requests

If you believe a Capture on Naiira uses your content without permission, email us at olivameg@icloud.com with a link or description of the content and where it's stored. We'll review the request and remove the Capture if appropriate.

6. Donations

Naiira may include a link to an external donation platform (currently Ko-fi). Donations are voluntary contributions to support Naiira's development and do not unlock any feature, tier, or paid status within the product. Donations are processed entirely by the third-party platform, under its own terms and privacy policy — Naiira does not handle or store any payment information related to donations.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Naiira to capture or store content that is illegal, infringing at scale, or that you have no reasonable basis to treat as personal reference material.
• Attempt to access another user's account or Captures without authorization.
• Use Naiira in a way that disrupts or overloads the service.

8. Termination

• You can delete your account at any time; this removes your Captures from our systems (subject to standard backup/retention windows).
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

• Naiira is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind.
• To the extent allowed by law, Naiira and Oliva Meg aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services (for example, lost data or lost profits). Since Naiira is free to use, our total liability to you for any claim is capped at $0.

10. Business transfers

If Naiira is acquired by, merged with, or sells substantially all of its assets to another company, your information and Captures may be transferred as part of that deal. We'll let you know if that happens and if it changes how your information is handled.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Naiira evolves (for example, when new features like sharing or paid plans are introduced.) We'll note the date of the last update above.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Jalisco, Mexico, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you're a consumer located elsewhere, you may also be entitled to protections under the mandatory laws of your own country — nothing here takes those away. If any part of these Terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
